A Cigar Secret Reflection
Every time I’m at the airport, I can’t help but slow down. Maybe it’s the smell of coffee mixing with jet fuel, or maybe it’s the sight of people rushing toward their gates, each person with a story, a destination, a reason to go. 🥳
And then it hits me, life is a lot like an airport.
Some people are meant to fly with you for a while. Same plane, same journey. You laugh, you share stories, maybe even sit next to each other through turbulence. But eventually, their stop comes before yours. They get off. You wave goodbye. And the plane takes off again.
Other times, someone appears only at your transit, a quick encounter at the boarding gate, a short conversation at the cigar lounge, a smile that lingers longer than it should. They remind you that not every connection needs to last forever to be meaningful.
In a way, airports are full of goodbyes and new beginnings — just like life. The key is not to get stuck waiting for the wrong flight, or comparing your destination to others.
Because at the end of the day, everyone’s boarding pass looks different. So slow down. Light a cigar. Take a deep breath before your next departure.
At Cigar Secret, we like to think of our lounge as a little transit lounge between the chaos of life — a place to pause, reflect, and enjoy the layover before the next big adventure.
